Subject: There and Back Again.......
Subject: There and Back Again.......
This was my first phil show, god I wish I would have went to see him sooner. But what can I say this was a great start to my first tour. I saw 23 show's
...
of the rest of this tour ending at Alpine Vally for the G.D. Family Reunion. Not having any prior ticket's ( I know it is considerd to be against the dead values but things just happen and this is how it happend). I even snuck into the Scranton Cultrual Art's show ( not promoting sneak-in's or gate crashing by any means) but I hadn't missed a show yet and I wasn't about to miss that one, especially being automatically SUPER SOLD OUT. I never planned on seeing all the show's I saw, it just happend. And I think the signifacance of this show helped me open my sail's and like a lost sailor out to sea I went. I learned and experianced more through this summer than I ever had till that point in my life. The Like a Rolling Stone opener definatly set's the mood the H>S>F A+ ( on the way to the show I said it would be my first show wish) UBC I was just really lucky to get this at my first show, what can I say, I didn't hear my first Broken Arrow till Georgia 18 show's later. Not to forget the Shakedown (iceing on the cake) the smokin Viola and a jammin Passenger encore. This is my first post to the archive and as I re-listen to the rest of the tour, continuing my own search for the sound I will try to write a small recap of each show. Thank you archive for helping me revisit one of the most important time period's of my life.
